While enrolling in an institute
the connoisseur handed a list of contents to novice that he needs to
learn and accomplish prior awarding degree. The world is an institute
and the course of contents are all ascribed in Allah’s book of guidance
already that He has revealed upon His last messenger. The contents
comprise almost everything exuberating divinity and minor issues. This
book of guidance has declared the source to award distinction at the day
of Qayamah when all people will gather in the court of Supreme Judge
and accountability will proceed in compliance to their committed deeds.
For the authenticity and sanctity of
Quran alone this fact is suffice that it is the world of Lord coded in
Arabic, full of guidance for the easy comprehension of Humankind. Allah
says in Quran:
Purpose of Quran Revelation
Quran revelation
is not the first revelation of omnipotent deity but a last revelation,
which will remain source of Hidayah until the Day of Resurrection for
every single being. The purpose has itself clarified by the Book of
miracles as:
Source of guidance and mercy for whom? The traits of “good doers” have explicitly elaborated in the verses of Quran as:
“Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].” [Quran 2: 3-4]
Quran bestows insight upon man showing
the right path to the believer by quoting accounts of Prophet (PBUH) and
His followers. The Book of Allah motivates a person through parables,
exhortation, and admonitions to save from aversion.
Quran has Everything that a Man Wants to know
Quran
is an easy to understand portal for all fellow beings. It guides a
person personally, spiritually and morally instructing to abide from the
wrong doings. Quran itself authenticates its teachings as:
Aforementioned verse sheds light on a
fact that transgressors are those who do not pay heed to the clear
indication of Allah’s signs and will be a hopeless soul in the end.
Quran as Prophetic Mission
Quran strengthens the prophetic mission
of generations i.e. to address the commandments of Allah Almighty and to
ask a Muslim to worship the only Lord by commemorating the oneness of
Allah. The mission of Apostles is to guide the person and to enlighten
his heart by exposing him to the lights of reckoning.
The darkness mentioned here is the
darkness of souls, the ignorance that is considered bliss by the
non-believers but soon will be trapped in wrath of Allah Almighty. The
darkness of soul is the vice that Quran has alarmed since revelation to
emancipate humanity by leading towards light of wisdom.
Guidance and Interceder
As the guider never leaves the pupil
alone in the hardship and battles in the same way, Quran guides and keep
on asking the followers to concentrate on its meanings to extract the
essence of Islamic dogmas. The day when a single soul will plead for
virtues and no one will help him then Quran, the guider will be an
interceder for the believers. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) quoted as Hadith
narrates:
“Read the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.” [Muslim]
Distinguish between the idolaters and believers
Quran is revealed to guide the people
towards the path of Allah, the chosen path of absolution. The idolaters
keep on denying the beliefs encrypted in the verses of Quran about which
Allah says that they are dumb and deaf hence can never grasp the
blessings of Allah Almighty and will always be in the heap of ignorance.
The non-believers deny the sings of
Allah and are in the gross whim that they will be set free once died.
The accountability of these who are astray souls will be terrific, as
they have given ample time to repent yet avoid turning back to Allah.
Quran verily guides a person in each
aspect of His life, does not leave Him alone in time of need, and
eradicate anxiety by instilling the truth upon him. Surmising it as the
authentic book that is a sole guider and teacher until the last Day of Judgment is Quran, hence hold unto it to be among the blessed ones.
“O mankind! I have left behind over you that which if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray: the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His prophet.” [Al Bayhaqi]
