A few days before his 11th birthday, Haris Khan, a young Irish Pakistani boy living in Eire, Ireland became one of the world’s youngest App Developer when his app 'Super Soccer Kicks' went on sale in the Apple App Store worldwide. Haris Khan has not only made his parents proud but has made the Pakistani nation proud by becoming the youngest app developer.

He started using Paint programme when he was only 4 years old. After designing and creating his own website at the age of 8, he continued to learn the computer language HTML with the help of his parents. His father Mubarak is an IT specialist and mother Kiran Mubarak is a graphic designer. His mother supported his interest and taught him basics of computer programming, objective-C and graphic design.

The young developer has received immense praise for his application not from the Pakistani media but also from the Irish TV & Press as well. The App is available on the Apple's App Store for downloading by the name of ‘Super Soccer Kicks’ and is compatible with IPhone, IPad and IPod. Haris is already working on developing more games and apps for smartphone users, which he will be putting up on iTunes soon.

Haris’s principal at Scoil Eoin in Ballincollig, Co Cork, Gobnait Uí Nuanáin, said it is a fantastic achievement for Haris, who she said is an excellent student as well as a keen computer enthusiast. He is just one glowing example of the potential and talent that Pakistan has. If realized and promoted, no doubt many budding technical stars can make the country proud.

While there is no official record maintained for being the youngest kid with apps developed, Haris is definitely one from the league with just 10 years old and having registered an app to his name. His message to youngsters is to do what they love and passionate about and work hard to serve mankind.

His grandparents moved to Germany from Pakistan and his father and mother both were raised in Germany. Haris Khan moved to Ireland with his parents and younger sister, when he was only about 5 years old. His love of sport and computer games, have helped him become one of the world’s youngest app developers.
